Leopard's Chase: Tim Cate, course architect, had to come up with a golf course that would rival all of the beauty, style and grace of Tiger's Eye. After much planning, several millions of dollars and perfect vision, he created Leopard's Chase. This 18 hole championship layout did exceed all that Tiger's Eye is famed for and more. Leopard's Chase proves to be not only a fierce test of your skill, but every hole is captivating. Carved out of the natural wetlands of the South end of Ocean Ridge, this course is rivaled only by her sisters! The charming use of Love grass, exquisite landscaping and water features frame out this golf course like no other in the area. The most delightful feature remains to be the cascading waterfall on hole #18.
Leopard's Chase opened in February 2007 and has not had time to collect the many awards that are expected of her, such as Best New Golf Course for 2007, Golf Digest's Top 100 Rankings, Rankings in North and South Carolina and her star ranking by the National Golf Course Owners Association.
